Question Corvette suspension upgrades

Does anybody have any info or know from seat-of-pants experience about the suspension upgrade package for the ZL1 or is it the ZR1, i cant remember, all i know is that its supposed to be "the absolute best" upgrade package for the corvette. I dont have a corvette, however, i have a 70 chevelle that feels like a boat and needs some major suspension upgrading. Im going with all around adjustable coil overs from QA1, definatley all aluminum corvette front and rear suspension (a-arms, etc. ), polyurethane body mounts, 2 1/2 front drop spindles, and i was thinking about going with a rear 4-link holding a Ford 9-inch at bay, or IRS like the new corvettes have but ive heard that their pretty tricky and complicated to work with, im not sure what would be the best application for my make and model, so if someone could please, for the love of god, help me out on this.

re: Corvette suspension upgrades

Your best best bet would be to get in touch with Bob at www.progressiveautomotive.com He is building me a chassis for my 61 using all modern Vette running gear. Bob is a pretty "fart smeller" when it comes to building chassis or crossmembers utilizing vette running gear.

Tony....
