Coolant bubbling out of the valve cover??
If you don't see any coolant coming out of a crack somewhere, I would suggest a head gasket, maybe warped the head if you ran it hot, especially if aluminum, although it would be coming out below the headers, where the head meets the block, somewhere around the head mating surface. Do a compression test.
