Post Corvettes and drag style oil pans

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience using drag pan on a C4 vette? I want to use a 7qt drag pan on a 86 vette 383 stroker? Anyone have experience with ground / chassis clearances?

Measure from the block bottom rails to the oil pan bottom both front & rear. Most of the catalogs and manufactures give the depth of the pans, then you can measure before you buy. Dont forget you mite need another oil pump to fit the pan.
