Could someone run this combo on their desktop dyno?
Im looking at buying a motor from a friend. He couldnt really give me too much info. What he could tell me was it is a Chevy 350, .030 over. The cam has .440 lift and 208 degrees @ .050. (I assume thats intake, he didnt know exhaust) and a 112 degree lobe seperation. Has roughly 9.5:1 compression. Short tube headers with side pipes. Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carb. He couldnt tell me anything else about the engine. Any help would be great. Im really wanting atleast 250 hp if im gonna buy it.

You'll have 250hp unless there's something very wrong with it.

i figured as much..shouldnt be anything wrong with it. it has 0 miles, fresh out of the engine shop, he just ended up not using it.

Or you could just run it yourself;)

Hard to run a DesktopDyno without all the info, but this is what I put together in about 3 seconds.

Chevy 355, .440/.444 208/234 @.050, 9.5:1, 600cfm 4bbl, dual-plane std flow, Small tube headers, open exhaust, chevy 882 heads, 2.02/1.6 valves.

430ft/lbs@3500, 354hp@5000.

Those numbers dont look right, but it might be because of an error in the cylinder head file. But maybe that can give you a general idea.
