I'm looking to purchase a LPH-400 and was curious if there are counterfeit guns out there. I found a video comparing a real vs fake W101 but nothing on the LPH400. I see some LPH400's for sale from Japan (which makes sense since they are manufactured there) but I don't know if they are legit. So what's the verdict?
I am not sure about the possibility of fake LPH-400, but I have bought a few from "autocolorwarehouse" on Ebay. They run around $475 for the gun and 1000mL aluminum cup. They are of course cheaper without the cup, but I personally don't care for the disposable cups. If you are wanting cheaper, keep and eye on the ebay auctions, there are deals to be had.
After googling for a tulip tip I came across another gun (Tekna Pro/Prolite) that has made me change my mind on the Iwata. It is cheaper, comes with 3 tips and 2 caps, parts are cheaper and in the end has comparable results. So after doing more research this seems like a no brainer and all because of the tulip tip, so thank you.
