I am planning out my '31 coupe interior and trying to figure out the best sight lines for putting seams in the rear corners. Doesn't seem that I can make the entire quarter-back quarter out of one solid run. The back corners,at least at the upper 1/3 have the possibility of curves rather than 90 degree angles. I am planning on using ABS sheet s the backing.

So, if you've done, or seen this, where do the seams go? Three possibilities I have thought of would be -
1. At the rear of the quarter, jut before the bend/curve and then picking up the curve with the rear panel
2. Including the bend/curve with the rear quarter panel and having the seam at the edge of the rear window-the back panel just being flat.
3. Including the bend/curve with the rear quarter panel but ending where the curve hits the back panel-making the flat back panel extend all the wall across the back.
Advice,options and especially photos would be greatly appreciate. Thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do? Is this part of the headliner, behind the rear seat, or what? A '31 what brand of coupe? Does it have a rear seat, or is it a business coupe?

I've got the headline down okay. What I am trying to figure are the "walls" running from the rear of the door opening along the side including the qtr window, acorss the back-including the rear window and around the other side (including the qtr window) to the rear of the other door opening. In other words, the entire interior from the floor to roof from one door opening to the other.

It would be possible to have one panel to cover the area from the headliner down below the rear seat, if there is one. You haven't answered my questions. What car is it going in, (a '31 Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Packard), and is there a rear seat?

Sorry, I thought the title was more clear-1931 Model A Ford coupe. Chopped 3.5". Fiero bucket seats. I have the foam headliner intact and will just recover it-black instead of gray. What I need is information on forming the "walls" if you will. I think I will need more than one panel to do the sides and back and my question is where to put the seams

Thanks for posting. How did you attach your panels to the sides and back? (I have the doors figured out)

That looks REALLY great.
I've never figured out how people do inner corners, and not have any wrinkles with the excess material.??
