Couple of questions about 350TBI swap

Hello,
Currently reworking my harness before my swap. Engine/trans/harness are '93 Buick Roadmaster (same as Caprice).
~ What do I do with purple/white wire from C9, going to crank fuse? What is "crank fuse" anyway?
~ The engine has 2 temp sensors, 1 on top of the intake manifold with yellow and black wires, the other on the driver side of the block with green and green/white wires. I think the one with yellow and black wires is for the PCM, the other one for the stock temp gauge. Can I use that block side sensor for my aftermarket gauge? Should I use my aftermarket sensor in that location for my aftermarket gauge?
Thanks!

The crank wire needs to be hot when the starter is engaged. It tells the computer you're cranking the engine so it will pick the right fuel and timing for easy startup. I tie that wire to the wire that kicks out the starter solenoid. The sensor in the intake is for the computer the sensor on the head is for temp gauge or electric fan if equipped. It will not work for aftermarket gauges usually but you could use the wiring since it is all wrapped up in the loom as a neat way to run the gauge wiring into the car.

Haha. I don't even have the stang anymore. My hotrod is a 67 fairlane.

I swapped Chevy TBI from an 89 k1500 onto the 351m ford motor in my rock crawling 78 f150. I'm also a mechanic by day lol.
