Covering door mouldings with vinyl

I'd like to cover my moldings that are on the door tops inside my rambler but I'm not sure if the added material will give me fitment issues especially with the window fuzzies that staple to them.

No, that won't be a problem, in fact it might help a little. The "fuzzies" as you call them are belt weatherstripping. Check out this thread: CLICK HERE

I did read that tutorial a couple of times and thanks for posting it.
I knew it wouldn't be a problem covering the molding I just wasn't sure about the added thickness of the material under the belt weatherstrip possibly making it too tight on the glass.
