Craftsman's Twin Cutter?
Has anyone used Craftsman's Twin cutter on steel yet? I saw it on a commercial and on the front page of the tool catalog. The cut width looks a little hefty, but the two blades moving in opposing directions would make me feel much better (Regarding kickback)

Just looking for some feedback before I buy.....

My wife bought me one for our anniversary last year. I use it for just about everything... It goes through steel tubing like it's butter.
The blade is hard to see with the big guard in the way which makes it hard to follow a cut line with any precision. I use it mainly for rough cuts to get stuff to a manageable size for the bandsaw. It does have a wide kerf and it makes some big chips but it will cut through anything and I like it!
I picked up a motorless Ryobi miter saw with the intentions of adapting the Twin Cutter to it. This would make a nice chatter-free cut-off saw if I get it finished...

How is it on .188 wall tubing?

I've been cutting .125 & .156 wall tubing and 10ga. sheet with it and I see no reason why 3/16th's would challenge it.
You have to use one to understand that there is NO chatter... It cuts with a smooth action and, if you can control the cut well enough the ends that were cut look like they were machined...

Milwaukee and Hitachi both make one-I believe they both have a bigger blade than the Craftsman. I really like the Hitachi, but after it cut about three Semi Truck Frames it began to pop the breaker more and more-
