Do you know what engine it came out of or if it is flat tappet or roller?
Any other numbers such as a 6 digit -xxxxxx? I checked a few of my older parts catalogs and couldn't find anything related to what you have provided.

I dunno, that's a 402... as was the BBC "400", but Chevy actually called it a 400 4bbl in some of their literature of the day ca, '71 or so. The SBC was referred to as the 400 2 bbl.

Someone subtitle this post "archaic American ~400ci we know and love"?

My apologies to the OP; please tell us which brand and vintage of 400ci/6.5L engine you are using

Note: its a good thing he didn't have a mystery 350...I would have been on the Franklin air-cooled V12 by now
