Crane Cam ID help...
Hello, new to the site, very nicely done. Of course, I found it on accident, since I couldn't find the darn number for a Cam. I think its a crane, and I am worried their tech line might fade away soon with the company closure. Anyone with an old catalog please save me: The cam has two numbers stamped on the end: 119516 and 961710. The grinded number is 118521. Now this last number 118521 is listed with Crane, but as a grind number instead of a stamped part number. Anyone that can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I am thinking the cam was bought early to mid 1990's.
Thanks much Glenn |

Yes sir. That was in fact what I found. That shows that the grind number should be SR-244/362-2S-12 IG, yet the grind is 118521. The lifters that came with this lightly used cam appear to be Crane Pro-series mechanical lifters. Thanks for pulling it up for me. Any further help is greatly appreciated.
