I acquired a 351 Windsor engine; the crankshaft was out of the engine. The number on the crank is 3MA. Does anyone know what the number identifies? How do I find out how to identify one crank from another since they all seem to be interchangeable? The block number sets the block as a 1974 automobil block.

The marks identify the engine type;
It goes even further; 2MA is a 302 28.2oz. 2MAE is a 302 50.0oz. Just FORD's way of identifying what they assembled. |
