I can get a .013 feeler gage in. Is there any thing I can do to tighten this up, or do I need a new crankshaft.
If it is being measured w/a new thrust bearing, I would consider 0.013" excessive, but not terminally so. I look for under 0.008" and at least 0.003" (with a new bearing), and the two bearing halves should measure very close to each other.
I believe there are oversize thrust bearings available. I don't know who has them or what OS they come in, I'd look to the major bearing suppliers catalogs.
