Crankshaft journal ding

On my 350 i was putting in my crankshaft and while putting it in i dinged one of the journals up. and was wondering if there was anything i could do myself to fix it its not very deep of a ding.

Take a small fine file and knock down high spots at edge of "ding". Then hand polish with fine (400+) sandpaper and WD40.

See Linez35, that makes 3 of us who have owned up to dingin' a crank. Don't feel bad.
Anyone who doesn't have at least a basic needle file kit in his toolbox should have to stand before the judge and show just cause.
