...kinda fun to relive the old days. For some reason, we actually called the motor a 301 CID--probably something about the decimals. I was running at Green Valley in the Dallas Ft Worth area. I had taken everything off the Vette that would unbolt and got the car down to about 1800 lbs. I lifted up the front end about 3 inches and had what were called street slicks. I could get a little air on take off, but nothing like today's rods.
