Is there any reason to cross drill banjo bolts? I pulled them out of of a caliper pad rotor replcement. I cannot figure why they would drill a 2nd hole through the banjo bolt. More fluid transfer ?
If I had to guess, I would say the 2 smaller holes would carry the volume of the larger hole in the hollow of the bolt. Also 2 smaller crossdrilled holes would be a bit stronger than one large one. So the strength of the bolt would be less comprimised. Not sure if thats why, but it makes sense to me.
