Do yourself a favor and stay away from the "universal" harness unless you want to learn automotive wiring the hard way. Fortunatly your gmc is about as simple as it comes. Ive heard good things about painless and there are a couple others that have been recommended here. Might check out Stovebolt.com, plenty of good info there also.
