Custom Build Questions/Opinons

Hey guys, building a 49 GMC Pickup. Want to use a completly new wiring system, Just want to know if anyone has used any universal replacement kits? Any opinion on kits from "Keep It Clean Wiring" by the Hoffman Group? Other opinions definatly welcome, as i am a rookie builder

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the "universal" harness unless you want to learn automotive wiring the hard way. Fortunatly your gmc is about as simple as it comes. Ive heard good things about painless and there are a couple others that have been recommended here. Might check out Stovebolt.com, plenty of good info there also.
