Custom Coil-Overs?
I want to upgrade to ladder bars soon on my pro-street s-10 but dont really want to shell out the big bucks for top-dollar coilovers. Is is possible to make spring plates to fit over both ends of rear adjustable drag shocks? (round, flat spring-plates with a hole in the middle that the shock goes through with tabs welded on the back of the plate to put a bolt through it and the shock) Do you see any problem with this design? I know it wont be as good as a real coil-over but it could save some space under the truck. Sorry I couldnt post a drawing the file was too big.
