Custom embroidery on "leather"

Ok, I think we have success! My wife finally put the winning combination together and came up with a design that I am VERY happy with! Finally I may get some pay back on that expensive machine I bought her and she has never used!

re: Custom embroidery on "leather"

She's not only his wife but she's my cousin and financial manager. How else would I have been able to retire at 55. Not only can she sew (she's good at a lot of things so I'm told) but she can cook too!

Tell Diana I'll want her to do some Deuce work for me later.

re: Custom embroidery on "leather"

She only has one problem..........she obviously can't spell "hemi"

Seriously...that is very good embroidery and is worth its weight in gold. Congratulations on finding the right configuration for the embroiderer!! What needle and what thread did she use?

Now you gone and done it!

OK, she read that and went right to work. I guess she'll have to teach Mrs. Centerline when you guys come out since she has the same machine!

She used a leather needle size 90, Madera 40 weight metalic thread (on the Chevelle, not the Hemi), stablizer on the back.

re: Custom embroidery on "leather"

Did you ever have one of those days that you do something and the results come back to you and you think"What the heck was I thinking when I did that " Well I showed my wife these posts and pic's and said "Look what his wife did for his car......I bet you could do some of this with a little trial and error "You see my wife is a professional seamstress in a Sail shop for sail boats and can sew just about anything. She says sure I can do that, there is only on small problem"You will have to buy me a new embroidery machine to do it with the one I have now will not do the job" Oh great another sewing machine. My wife does a lot of sewing at home ......I have all ready bought her 5 machines and now another one? With the costs of these things it is beginning to start to cost me as much as I'm spending on my truck.I guess I'll never learn to quit while I'm ahead................

That embroidery work is excellent!!!!!!!!

Have a Happy Forth !!!
Kenny

Mrs. Centerline

Actually Mrs. Centerline embroidered a nice shirt for me a couple years back, so I wouldn't be surprised if she couldn't do this right now!

Can you imagine the saint this woman must be in addition to a talent? Few people know this but Mrs. Centerline does more behind the scenes than anyone would guess. On his last Hemi rebuild, word has it through my wife that she torqued him off!

Mrs. Centerline is one of the most wonderful people you would ever meet. Anyone ever gets the chance, don't pass it up. She's funny and entertaining in addition to being one of the best people on this earth. Centerline is also one lucky man and he knows it.

Boy! You bought her bill of goods hook, line, and sinker didn't you. Been married to her for 37 years but she's been torquing me off for WAY longer than that.

Thanks Kenny from the wife...but yeah I know what you mean. That machine is NOT CHEAP! Now she wants the one that's even better and told me she can trade this one in for what we paid for it!

Boy us guys can really step in it without realizing it until it's too late!
