Custom grill sources?

I want to make a custom grill, but the material alone is crazy expensive.
I would like to make either a wire mesh grill or a punched one ( lots O holes )

Has anyone found a reasonably priced supplier of material or a way to gor one made?

And no, no one makes one for my vehicle!

Thanks
Keith

You can get perforated aluminium on ebay pretty cheap.
If you would rather have it another color check this out.

I have ordered from here. http://www.mcnichols.com/

They have lots of different types of grills, mesh, expanded metal, etc.

UHHHH.... just the grill?

JK. I think those look kinda cool. They definately are a better canvas than most. Could be a real nice custom unit.

www.customcargrille.com might be an option. I recently purchased some aluminum mesh from them for the grille on my project.

Thanks, compared to the normal things out there it's pretty sweet I think. The best part is the Toronado 455 and front wheel drive. Gotta love it.

That thing is front wheel drive? Wow, never would have guessed that. Must get about 6 mpg. Ouch. You could turn it into a Mega Mystery Machine

Yep it's basically a supersized Toronado. And it get 10-11 mpg depending on how you drive it. It's pretty small as far as motorhomes go, short and low.

I think I'm going to weave my own wire mesh grill. I can't find what I want for a reasonable price. But I can get enough stainless wire for about $20.
The problem is the grill is so big, too big to cut from off the shelf materials.

Order custom wire mesh grilles here --- they use a water jet and can match any shape or size according to their website -
