Hi,

Would someone know where I could have some custom louvers made? What I want is S.S. or polished alu. louvers that could be fitted into the hood of my car..one each side over the headers..the hood being fibreglass such work can be done rather easy but finding louvers isn't that easy!
I think some ferrari cars had similar on some of their cars.
Any suggestions?

Hey TVR383- I was at a swap recently and they had 'universal louvers' in a pack of 12 that were cast and chromed- all you do is drill the holes, slide them in and they have a tube clip to hold in place. They looked like an old '60's bolt-on made (I think) by CalCustom. Search the swaps or check eBay. I'll ask my buddy- he bought a set for $3... They were small and I assume you want something bigger- if your hood is fibo, why not just lay up a set yourself? The Knowledge Base has a bunch of info on fibergl****ing and it is not too complicated. good luck!
