Custom power steering/ air conditioning hoses: Source
Here is a one man shop in the So. Calif. area that specializes in making custom pressure hoses. Prices are reasonable. If you have hit a wall on hoses for your project, give him a call. He is making hoses for my Toyota Land Cruiser power steering setup. I had totally struck out finding anyone to help me with it before I found him.

You can buy the hose and the ends at your local parts store. Buy or rent the tool and make your own.
I saved enough making these hoses to pay for the tool. Troy Last edited by troy-curt; 04-05-2004 at 07:47 AM. |

Yes, we have an Aeroquip store in the 'trucking district' here in Bakersfield but they couldn't help me with the proprietary power steering Toyota hose fittings. Also, sometimes you run into a strange AC fitting or two if you build you stuff using junkyard parts like I do. I Use the Aeroquip guy a lot too, I really like the reusable type industrial hydraulic fittings they sell.
