custom shackles

I just installed a Ford 9" in my 1965 Falcon. The original rear end was for the 6 cylinder car and it still has those leaf springs. The problem I have is with the larger axle tubes, the car sits about 2" lower in the rear. I have been unable to locate modified shackles to raise the car back up. Anybody know of anyplace that sells them??

Longer shackles are available through JC Whitney, but they really look bad from the back.Try air shocks or coil spring kits that go on your existing shocks.JC Whitney usually has these, also NAPA used to offer them.

Make your own.....just cut some flat steel stock the right size to length and drill some holes in each end.
