why not dump a bottle of alumiseal into the radiator and let it seal up properly and be done. had it fix a hole the size of a my finger and still work hold pressure for a years(forgot to change it out) it was just fine.
No you will not be able to hold the temp that low. even with big radiator. also engine will run better at proper temp also use less fuel and make more power.
