Custom Valve Cover help
hey guys, i made up some custom valve covers, well i bought the valve covers then putting my own aluminum decals made out of 1/8" aluminum, need help should i paint the SKR Black and Racing Red or should i leave it as is? i cant decide and need input lol the engine block is black but everything else is aluminum the skr and racing isnt secured so thats why its not straight http://www.skrrepair.ca/custom valve covers.jpg

I would deleet "racing" and use black letters.

Definately Black or cordinate with body ,or chasis color....They are awesome covers though. Are they available to the public?

Sorry I guess I should have read your original post completely . My question should be where did you buy the covers and would you be interested in cutting out letters for others.

PPC valve covers these ones are the R6145 i had a local company cut out the letters on his waterjet machine, he sponsored it and did it for free but he said it usually costs 50$ so its pretty expensive i just got the SKR powdercoated waiting on the racing to be done then ill post pics there getting painted :)

KMJ Performance sells a similar valve cover I am using on my 327, and they're really nice quality for a very cheap price. And yes, they are a baffled inlet too! I like them because the mounting holes are sleeved so they use a long allen head screw, and not cut out around the mounting screw. $59, with free shipping too!

well here is 1 of the valve covers with my pcv valve in and the words on but not glued down yet, still can move them around thats why they are not straight http://s10v8.com/images/smilies/smile.gif let me know what you guys think
