Custom Wiring Harness Parts

Hi guys,

For my project i'm going to be building my own wiring harness. It has a removable body and i would like to have all the chassis wiring neatly going to a weatherproof plug on the body for when the two are separated.

I have searched the internet and can not seem to find the type of plug i need.

It needs to be weatherproof, and the body side needs to be able to be mounted firmly to it, with all the wires behind it so none are visible - similar to a plug on a military vehicle if you've seen one of those.

Does anyone have any idea when i can get one of these plug & sockets from? It needs to be a 15 pin.

Thanks,

Darren

Several firms have those plugs like
DigiKey Electronics
or
Mouser Electronics
Request a catalog from each they are filled with tons of useful stuff.

Other possible sources would be Allied Electronics, or Newark Electronics. Excellent places to purchase from, with comprehensive web sites.
