I've got an arbor that I use on my 4 1/2 inch angle grinder like burnt olds is talking about but mine does not require a spacer. It is 2 pieces that sanwich the disc between them. works great! Got mine at Northorn Tool

On mine i can just turn the arbor nut over and it works fine..buy the wheels in the industrial size boxes as one can go thru those things fairly fast and they are cheaper that way..and I have some when I need them and do not have to run to the store all the time..

I've been using a Makieta electric die grinder. With a arbor mounted cutoff wheel it works just like the air driven one. Nice thing about it is now I do not have to fire up the compressor just to make one or two cuts.

I have also used the 4.5 Masonry cut off blade's on metal,I don't find any difference between the masonry or the metal blade's,to me they cut the same.
