Cut Wire - Where should it go?? 92 S10 Blazer

I've got a 92 S10 Blazer, and I've been having some problems with the 4WD so I was checking out the actuator under the battery and found an open vacuum line. The vacuum line goes to an electrical connector of some sort, from which a pair of wires run to the firewall, then along the firewall to a grouping of wires near the brake booster. From there, it splits into two sets of wires. The first set goes to the front differential. The other set has two wires coming out of it. There first wire goes through the firewall. The other is a little black wire that goes to another connector. from that connector comes an identical little black that has somehow been cut. its really rough, so it was cut by pliers, its been torn or broken somehow.

What is this wire for and where does it go????

I attached some pictures so you can see where it goes and what it looks like. Thanks!

Isn't the same wire shown left of the pink/blk stripe wire at the bottom of the connector in the attached image?

hmm interesting in my 92 s10 that black white stripe connector single wire isnt even connected to anything

the only thing that doesnt work in mine is the cruise control

odd..

on yours the one that is stripped or whatever in bad condition is the one mine doesnt even have at all

connector end on it going towards the main harness by the booster is intact though.,

yeah im curious to know.

because ive given up on trying to figure out why mine doesnt work, but i need it badly because i highway drive often.. ive tried a new brake switch, checked vacuum in the hose, checked fuses and connectors, etc.

and the only thing not connected on mine is this small black white strip connector wire.

haha

good luck
