Cute little baby muffler.
I was walking by this Nissan pick up and just had to snap a photo of this cute little muffler. It's going to grow up to be a flow master.

Baby is about the size of the 'silencer' on the intake on my pickup!

Used to call those 'resonators' on exhaust systems in the 60's.

still call them resonators, so far as I know. Some late models still have 'em along with a Cat/Con and a muffler - gets a bit "busy" under there!

I had a pair of 60's Buick resonators that looked something like that for mufflers on my V8 Pinto back in the 70's. I got pulled over one night for loud pipes (go figure). The cop asked me if I even had mufflers on it. My reply was “yes sir I do....2 of them”.
He looked under the car and his comment was “Boy, those aren’t mufflers, their spark arrestors” Yeah , I got a ticket.
