Cutting SPI universal help

Hello, I sprayed SPI universal on Ppg Deltron last week and I am doing some wet sanding. I am using 1500-2000 and meguiars 85 and it looks great! However I have minimal swirls which you can see only at an angle, the guy at the paint store told me to use any wax but I don't think he knew what he was talking about. I would be fine just leaving it like that but should I put glaze or what other step should I take? Thanks for all the help

The Universal is a soft clear, it stays that way a long time.
On dark colors you need to polish it a little further to
rid the swirls. Letting it sit longer before buffing helps,
but a fine polish or swirl remover is usually needed.
The Show Car Glaze works, but that's a band-aid approach
and the swirls will come back as soon as it's washed.
Sometimes I will just do a "hand polish" for the dark colors.
I also have an orbital polisher that works real good.
Don't put any wax on it for at least a couple of months.

Thanks guys, I figured the guy was wrong about the wax, I had seen the big warning sign that says DONT wax on SPI's perfect paint job. I do have a dark color (Metallic steel gray) so ill guess ill just give it some more polish and then go with the swirl remover. Cant wait to show this car off! First time ive painted a car and I am so glad i came across this website because I would have never known about SPI or learned any of the things i learned here... Ill post pics once i put it back togheter.
