Cylinder Head Bargains

I am not trying to make a habit of this, but I have the following heads I need to move: (My ex-wife needs the money)

1 Pair of 6x-4 Pontiac Heads, new 2.11 inch intakes, 1.77 exhausts, silicone bronze guides, FULL PORT JOB, 238 cfm intake port flow, New 110 lb, .580 lift springs, new seals and locks.

2. One pair of Pontiac 1967 670 Heads, will build to suit.

3. 2 pair of Dart Iron Eagle SS heads, 2.02 1.600 valves, choice of springs and port matched.

4. 3 pair of Vortec heads, 2--062 castings, 1 pr 906 castings. Will build to suit

5. 1 pair of early 041 heads, fuelie type with accessory bolt holes, build to suit

6. 1 pair of 305 H.O. heads 416 castings from Monte Carlo SS, will build to suit, 58 CC chambers.

Again, not trying to make a habit of it, but these are some pretty desirable heads, and if my friends at Hotrodders need some, I got some!!!!!

The darts started out as new bare castings, they are stock with 1.94 inch intakes and 1.5 seats. I install new, solid silicone bronze guides. I then open up the intake bowl area with a 70 degree bowl hog cutter and hand blend the the bowl into the seat area. The seats are cut on a Serdi seat and guide center and I do finish the actual seat with a finishing stone on a solid carbide pilot to insure concentricity and hand lap with clover fine lapping compound.
I then remove the factory exhaust seat and install oversized hard seat inserts for the larger 1.6 valve. The exhaust bowl is blended into the seat area and three angle valve job is performed as per the intake. The heads have screw in studs and guideplates, and are port-matched to Fel-Pro performance gasket.
Typically, these heads flow around 220 CFM on the intake and and 145 CFM on the exhaust side. The stock runner size is 165 CC intake and 65 CC exhaust, which will work out to around 170 CC runner size after the bowl and port work, and slightly larger on the exhaust.
They have new street/strip, stainless steel, swirl-polished valves with hardened tip, choice of 3 different valve springs, hardened retainers and locks.
These heads also have the high swirl combustion chambers and are stock at 72 CC, I do resurface them .008 to insure proper head gasket sealing.

That's it for my sales pitch. Emai me for more information.

The heads are equipped with 2.02-1.600 valve size

The 670 heads need a complete going through, they have one flaw on them, which is kind of a strange casting flaw on the intake flange area, it's actually just a cosmetic deal, and it has a small crack (on the intake flange at the bottom) the casting area there from the factory was thicker than the rest of the flange area.
As I said, the crack is cosmetic, and I was going to sell them on Ebay, but repair the crack first (probably just stitch it) I can send you a pic of the heads, they are still a little dirty, but I haven't had time to go through them yet. The heads pressure checked fine. Nairb

Tell me about the vortecs. I have the mexico cast goodwrench 350 that CHP did a build up on. I assume the vortecs will fit no problem. I need to purchase an intake anyway and cam before I install this engine in my GP later this spring. I will use the Q-jet on it.

nairb, since your 100/100 pm's your box will read full unless you delete all your sent messeges. to do that set the time from "5 days" to "from the beginning". otherwise you wont get any pms. that being the temporary case, what are you asking for the poncho heads in case i sell my camaro and find a 400/455?
hey nairb, no fair, how'd you get over 100 pms?
