Cylinder head question

Well my 400 is now in the shop getting some work done and such and im wondering since im going to be using the stock heads for the time being. Im wondering if gasket matching and a 3 angle job would be worth while?

and how much power do you gain from that?

The 3 angle job may be worth it. If you plan on aftermarket heads later, gasket matching probably won;t be worth your time or money.

Watch out for cheapo replacement valves. I had a set of rebuilt 400 heads with replacement valves. The tip of the intake valve on my #1 cylinder broke at the keepers. It went crashing down into my brand new piston. Luckily it was so cheap it bent out of the way and got stuck where it didn't destroy the piston.
