D shaped exhaust ports

I have D ports on my ZZ4 crate motor in my T-bucket. I use 1 5/8" sprint type headers on mine, no leaks. I used the round shaped header gaskets. I tried the D-shaped gaskets first and had leaks. Thereis very limited selections of headers made specifically for D ports, but the regular ones seem to be fine. I had the same questions you have before I bought my engine but I have found it's not as big as an issue as I thought it would be. I found it hard to find any info about the subject so I just went for it. Hope this helps
