DAEWOO... import but my reliable car vs. my 66 ford mustang

Got a problem. my 99 daewoo nubira cdx wagon had an ac problem, i took out the control panel, its 2 seperate assemblies, one being cheaper, i of course only bought what was broken (the front switches and plastic clips/interior lights) now after taking the 2 pieces apart, i installed the new one, but a spring fell out of somewhere, i've got the blower and the heat and cold working, just can't seem to get the different blower functions working (defrost, just floor, face, face and floor air blow functions)

does anyone know how this work, it looks completely electronic as if it functions by remote, but then i know its gotta be mechanical as far as the knob turns.... any ideas guys?

has anyone ever done this on a daewoo before (sad name/ great car)

thanks guys

Who makes that thing? Never heard of a daewoo anything so I guess your going to have to go to the daewoo service department and ask them.

I got it figured out.

by the way just a heads up

Daewoo was an aspiring import company that came out of seoul, south korea.

It was completely manufactured in korea to become the Luxury line of korean cars... as well as to give a different name to korean made cars (kias, blatant pos's)

daewoo introduced their first manufactured line of cars in 1999

all 16v dohc engines.. cars ranging from hatchbacks, 4 door sedans and a wagon

top of the line and base line... power windows, doors, locks, seats, 6 speaker stereo, excellent gas mileage

rumor goes that 3 years later when daewoo's went out of production that gm had bought the company rights out.

now basically, all the cheap chevy vehicles such as the aveo are daewoos within... (window regulators, switches)

by the way... daewoo also makes a variety of other things than cars

dvd players, tvs, vcrs, stereos... just like any import company
