" Daily Driver " body material
I am a retired physicist and am interested in acquiring a daily driver street rod. Will fiberglass body parts ( door hinges, etc. ) hold up or should I stick with a steel body ? Any other advise will be appreciated. Mr Bill

Many of the manufacturers use steel or aluminum re-inforcements where stress occurs and tries to eliminate it as much as possible.
A little shopping around can usually net the same answer from the manufacturer of the particular body you may be interested in. This thread may have netted more answers sooner if posted in the body forum. So I will move it.

Thanks for your help. I have spent a good deal of time in Mi. I designed and patented a special filter for automotive paints and sold hundreds of them to the auto assembly plants in Mi. & around the world. Mr Bill
