daily driver opinions

Okay, so I might be able to get yet another cutlass for a daily driver and I was wondering your alls opinions on the setup for the car I had in mind.

239 V6 (bored .060)
CS 1112R camshaft (194x204 .050, .424x.448, 114 sep.)
std 2bbl.
TH200C tranny
3.23 rearend
and of course port/portmatch the heads
and the rims are 14" olds ralley rims with 215/70 tires.

I am going for MPG with this setup and it would'nt cost me much to do except for the cam and the rearend.

Opinions?

I want say to this so that lluciano77 doesn't have to. Don't waste your money on that V6 get yourself a 400 sbc. Ok, with that being said. I think your selection is different, but I always liked different so go for it. I'm not a big fan of the 200C, I would go with the 2004R since it has overdrive and because your shooting for gas mileage, but if you already have had it rebuilt then keep it. If your not hard on the car the trans will last a long time.

Thats the point, I have all the parts except the cam and the car is only costing me $200.00 with a V6 in it. The 2bbl and the fact its a V6 should save on gas money.

Sounds like a nice all around daily driver. $200 was a good score.

I think its more like how many G-bodies have I owned (too many) This one would have made 5, but I only have my 87 left and the 84 monte. 2 cutlass's were destroyed (an 84 by me, an 87 by someone else) and another auctioned off after I was done with it.(87)
