Daily drivers

We all know people who drive hot rod project material as daily drivers. Some are mad at me because I drive my Dusty old '82 El Camino and have no desire to restore or hot rod it. No worries - it's paid for and it gets me where I want to go.

Anyway, I made a trip to the Lyon County seat (Yerington, NV) today, and I took my camera along. Here are some older daily drivers I see almost every day.

Every one of these cars and trucks run, and are driven at least weekly.

How about you? Any old iron running around your town? (I know this will get a response from the big city folk.) Take a pic of it and post it.

well, it's still on the road, I did drive it for a while, intentions of making a full time Daily driver out of it, but I decided the 120 ( overrated ) HP it had, wasn't enough, so I tore the engine down and I'm currently rebuilding the 200 I6 with quality parts, and adding a turbo/ intercooler. depending on how tempermental the turbo makes the engine, will dictate if it will become a daily driver. but here it is ( b4 engine teardown ) '67 Ford Falcon Futura 4dr, 200 I6/ C4 auto.

Here, in NE Ohio, I don't see much old iron running around. Any old vehicles that I do see are beyond salvation. (salt is murder on cars)
