dana 36 or 10 bolt
im thinking of putting a dana 36 corvette rear end in place of my 10 bolt ( 4.11s w/a locker). i figure the ride/performance will be better. my motor is a 454 BBC .30 over 750dominator with a victor intake and mid .500 lift cam. powerglide w/10 inch 3500 stall converter with manual valve body. do you think the dana will hold in my 67 impala?? pros/cons ??!!! i have the dana and the 10 bolt. a 9 inch or 12 bolt is not in the question just yet. the dana is just sitting there and would like to use it.

A D36 is very weak, partly due to the aluminum case and partly due to the small bearings and gears.
