Dana 44 from a Vette - in a 27 T Roadster

I have access to a Dana 44 IRS from a Vette real cheap. Free! Originally I was going with a venerable Ford 9", a pair of 60" ladder bars, and coil overs. Mucho $. I was thinking of using the same basic setup but do it with the IRS. I cannot claim originality on this one. There is a picture of a T pickup with a Hemi and Corvette IRS floating around the internet(I believe it's sporting ladder bars too) If I can find the pic I'll post it here.
Anyone got any ideas of the pitfalls I might run into doing this. Any comments, ideas are welcome

vette rear.

A lot of vette irs's got swapped. You just have to match the springs for the T. and mounting brackets and wishbones hair pins or 4 bars for the rear.
