I have been looking for 2 days and cant find anywhere to Identify this rear end I was told it came out of a chevy but when ordering seals they were wrong ones twice, I know I can measure seals and get them that way but would like to know what year and make it is.There are more numbers on passenger side :4 25 8 c 2 23 8bl(or 1) 602927 15 the 2 in the 602927 could be a 3 I can't read it good enough it also has a 9.75 ring gear and a detroit locker if this helps. any info would be much appreciated thanks roger

According to this chart from DANA Corp, on page 142 (#148 of 252 in the PDF)

602927-15 was a DANA 60, O.E. on a 1968 C20 with leaf springs.

According to this same chart, (pg 151) this same axle was used on a 1967 GM "I1500" ... which I've never heard of.

OK ... using that information above as the basis for application data,
I went to SKF/CR Online Catalog

and found C/R Part# 23844

I did more research and it is a 67 chev 1500 6 bolt origanally and someone has put 8 lug axles and a detroit locker in it thanks so much for the info have a GREAT DAY Roger
