building a 29 ford roadster need rear end help. Does anyone know how wide the rear end should be. I know it may very according to wheel spacing. I need an idea.

That is like saying you are building a 350 Chevy. What kind of oil pan do I need!!!

Fenders, pro street, power, tire size etc, etc, etc 9", 8.8, 8" 10 bolt, 12 bolt, wheels, Resto mod

There are lots of folks here that will help you out but you have to them some additional basics of your build.

Oh and welcome to the site since it looks like a first post. And no, I'm not always an old grump !!!

I am using stock fenders. I have a 1973 10 bolt chey rear. Using 7 " wide rim 41/2 offset . I am going to narrow the rear. How much do I need to take out? I have 38" from inside fender well to inside fender well. Hope this helps.
