Dart Tire Size

I have a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger. I'm wondering what's the biggest tire I can put on the car? I was thinking about a 15x8 wheel. Will this work or will I have to go smaller?

It's hard to find a 15" Chrysler wheel with the small bolt pattern. I think your car still has the small bolt pattern, could be wrong. A friend had a 69 Dart and the widest tire he could get under there was a 225x14.

That depends on the dimensions of your wheel. Measure your clearances and get back to us. Let us know if you don't know how to do that. We each had to learn sometime, we will help you.

You might have to get off this Chevy site and get onto a Mopar site and somebody there might have specific recommendations from their experience.
