I have a new dash for my 83 malibu. I want to take out the crack dash and install the new dash with out messing up the wiring and everyting else. Is it a simple way of doing this or not.

There is a web site where you can ask Chevy mechanics your question and get a quick answer. They claim there are 14 Chevy mechanics ready to answer questions. CLICK HERE Good luck.

Or.........if you don't care about the old dash pad, cut completely through it and carefully take it out in pieces from the top. This way you'll be able to locate the mounting screws (or whatever is holding the pad to the dash) so you'll know where to look for them underneath.
