I just watched a movie titled, The First Million is Hard to Make...or something like that. Anyway, the movie gave me an idea. For a custom dash, one with alot of curves and designs, couldn't I make a clay dash (about an inch and half thick) and then let it dry for a day so it holds form. Then take a cloth and lay it over the dash and then lay one to two layers of fiberglass over it making the mold. Let it dry, then put up to 3-4 more layers for stability. Would that work, or would the clay be too fragile?
