i used one on my corvette and it really suprised me it looked pretty good.but i have seen some look pretty bad also.i really think alot of it comes down to installation.clean prep glue.if you get a good quality cover they look decent.a new dash pad would looker better but man those things are getting up in price.its all in what you want or can afford.hope this helps. cole

These dash pad covers go on right over the top of the old ones. Check them out HERE Yours would be very simple and straight forward to do.

Cole said before that these things were getting up in price, but I don't think you can beat $125.00 for a new dash. I know I couldn't re-cover one for that price. At least check these people out.

dash pad overlays
I used one in a 69 chevy pickup a few years ago. I was very pleased with the way it looked.

I saw a '78 Firebird in the local salvage yard with a pristine dash - black, not faded, not wavy or cracked - perfect. I thought I had hit the jackpot - until I noticed that it had an overlay in place :embarrass . It only covered the top half of the dash, but it sure fooled me.
