Post Dash repair

Hey guys. I am repairing cracks in my s-10 dash to get it ready to be covered by tweed. What is the best way to fill the cracks and smooth them out so that you can't see them under the tweed?

I know that the dash repair kits work quite well with some skill.. colors never really match up though... another good way is for the smaller cracks and to hide bigger ones go over it with a heat gun... sometimes this seems to push everything where it is supposed to be... just be careful you don't give it too much heat

Polyurethane caulking works well to fill for a cover.
