I am looking for an orginal 48 chevrolet dashboard. Currently have a "*****in" dash and would like to replace. Any help appreciated.

I believe the dash in your car will be the same as any body of the 46-48 Chevy passenger car line.
I wonder, thought, is it a welded in unit (part of the body)?
If so the replacement should be taken carefully and generously from the donor body allowing you to trim back to stock specs for installation in your body.

The Dash unbolts. I have one in my 46 that I put dolphin guages in and I just bought another off of Ebay that I am going to redo for the later guages. Watch Ebay for them. I've seen 2 of them and I bought 1 of them... They show up every now and then...
I may sell one of the dashes I have after I get them all done.....GlennK

48 Chev Dash

Thanks for input. Once I get Dash I am not sure how to do guages as the sizes in dash do seem with today's aftermarket offerings. Any ideas? Think I may have found one in MN but not sure.

Try chev's of the 40's in washington for a replacement dash. They have all kinds of neat stuff. www.chevsofthe40s.com
