Dealer parts

This is probably a long shot but is there a website that lists available dealer parts? What I am mostly interested in is older Ford truck body parts and some smaller parts such as cables and fittings that I have not been able to find except from the dealer. My local dealer has been less than helpful and even seems somewhat annoyed when I ask about some of this small stuff so it would be a great help if I could find out what is and what is not still available before going to the dealer.

Maybe you need to give a different dealer a call. Usually, in my experience, I'm calling dealers from a collision shop from which they stand to make a bit of $'s. Therefore, they don't tend to be "less than helpful". But, if I feel they are no help, I just call a different one. Most dealers are linked together now and can do a national search for hard to find parts. I guess my point is, you got ahold of a crappy dealer, try a different one! And pass the word locally so your friends don't waste there time with that jerk that won't help you out.
