Defining the term Big and Littles???
 
Can you please tell me what specifically it means to run Big and Littles when referring to wheels and tires? Is this simply referring to running wider tires on the rear or larger wheels or both? I would appreciate any info.

Back tires are larger in both dia and width..Common on T-buckets..Comes from practice of drag cars using a big slick on the rear for traction and a narrow tire on the front for minimum rolling resistance..Some do this to "look cool" even tho they will never see a dragstrip..

I think the first factory made car with those different width wheels AND tires, were the 70 AAR Cuda & Challenger T/A sixpacks.

Thanks, yes I made the grille sheel. The body has been strecthed 8" and widened 6", so nothing off the shelf fit. Made the windsheild frame also. One thing pretty neat about this car is the pick up bed, the bed is also the gas tank, holds 25 gallons. Made that too.

Tasty. Do you have any pictures during fabrication or would you mind sharing how you did the construction? Also, what radiator are you running...must be pretty short.

The front of the shell is 14ga and it was cut with a CNC plasma. The side and top is one long pc of 20 ga about 5" wide. Stared at one end and mig tack welded as I went till it just came together. The radiator is a Griffin racing radiator, crossflow with 1.5 tubes. The motor runs at 160 down the road and about 190 in very heavy traffic.

Did you do anything on the inside edge of the 14 gauge (the lip that runs around the core)? It looks from the picture like it has a nice rounded edge to it. Also, did you have to add any "fill" to the outside edge (the joint between the 14 gauge and the 20 gauge) so you could grind a nice transition corner there?

I just used a DA on the sharp edge just enough to break it. There were a few little places that required some bondo.
