Demon Carb.
Hi, this is deno. I would like to find my carb. identification #s on my Demon carb. It is either a mighty Demon, or a race Demon. I looked all over, and cant find the #s. Thanks , deno

Demon Carb
Yes I did and it looks like a Mighty Demon. They don't show where the Identification #s are. The #s are on the carb, but I cant find them.

You aren't the only one who can't find a #. I went out a looked at my Road Demon and couldn't find a find one either (carb installed). I got out the paperwork and instruction manual that came with the carb and once again - no number. The manual does read "Road Demon" though. I haven't had a reason to tear into it, but I'm thinking of rejetting this weekend. I'll look closer then.....

Demon carb
Hey 73 Oldsman, this is deno. I had called some carb guys, ond one told me that there are two numbers on top by the vent tube. my numbers are 56. He told me that it was an 850, but he didn't know if it is a race Demon or mighty Demon. Thanks---

O.K. I found the number 9 by the vent tube. Don't know what that means and the site didn't help much....http://www.barrygrant.com/demon/default.aspx?page=3

Demon carburetor identification.
Demon carburetors are identified by markings stamped into the main body next to the secondary vent tube as well as their appearance. The following link can help you determine which Demon carburetor you have.

Which Carburetor?
Deno,
The 56 tells us that it is a 1.562" Venturi, and the ball mill mark indicates that it is a Mighty Demon series carburetor. It would be an 850 Mighty Demon.
